Radiohead @ Camden

Just amazing…

I started listening to Radiohead back when I was thirteen. The first time I listened to OK Computer I got the chills. It blew me away. It was like nothing I had ever heard and remains to be that way. After I had bought my first Radiohead CD, I went out and bought the others almost weekly.

Once I had bought all of the CDs (and had listened to them almost religiously), one thing remained clear—I needed to see them live.

Just yesterday I got that opportunity and they were everything and more than I expected. It was just incredible to be in the same room as them. These guys are my heroes. They are talented musicians and even care about the environment and I look up to them for that.

There was an electrical pulse that filled the place as soon as they went on stage. It was packed. 25,000 people. All in motion to the sound.

They opened with 15 steps and I was in awe. I almost felt dizzy. The lighting and live video feeds were mesmerizing and they were able to give such an amazing performance one song after the next.

I was extremely happy the entire show through. Words can’t describe how I felt though.

And as for the chills I felt the first time I listened to their songs were suddenly back last night. That was the most exciting part about it.

As for the people who don’t like Radiohead, I almost feel bad for them. They are seriously missing out on some mind-blowing music. But I feel almost lucky to have known about them.

All I can say is that after last night, I will definitely be seeing them again because it was one of the best things I have witnessed with my senses.
